I have photographed Tegan once before (remember that epic session with the sunflowers and amazing light???? That was this family!) and I was so excited when Mom contacted me for one of my Secret Garden Mini Sessions.
We ended up having to reschedule 3 times I think- once because of weather, and twice because my son was super sick. BUT – we finally got the session done. Everything about it was just perfect- Tegan’s dress, her purple hair, the light just everything. I really wish that I could only do my outdoor sessions during the golden hour. It is seriously the best time of day for photos- unless you are a morning person and prefer a sunrise session……..For some reason, I never have any takers for Sunrise sessions.
It always amazes me at how many wonderful shots you can get in just a short mini session. These mini sessions are great for children who are a little bit older and don’t need to warm up to the strange lady running around trying to take their picture. I only promise 10 images with this type of session, but I had such a hard time narrowing Tegan’s down that she ended up with more. Check out some of my favorites!
