One thing I can alway count on with this family is a good time. The first time I photographed them, mom showed up with a laundry basket full of clothes because she needed options (not to mention her son had dumped her coffee mug all over his outfit) She was also about 45 minutes late due to said coffee incident- I will never forget the phone call and she is telling me all about her morning and that she currently had clothes hanging out her window because they were not dry yet. A good time is always had with the H Family!
This time sweet Hana was the one who brought options- she just couldn’t decide on shoes. So she brought 2 pairs and let me pick. I love it! This was just a short mini photography session but boy did I get some awesome shots. Yes, we may have had to bribe the children that they could photobomb (what is it with photobombing these days, all of the kids that I photograph lately insist on at least 1 photobomb) their Mom and Dad AFTER we got their photos done. But hey, whatever works right?!?!? The photobomb shot is probably one of my favorites from the session. Check it out-
Its being able to capture moments like this that make me really love what I do. This family photo really shows them being them- not posed in front of the camera (don’t get me wrong, I do love a good posed photo), but goofing off and having fun. This is a memory. I feel so fortunate to have been able to freeze the moment for them. Here are a few of my other favorites from the H Families Boulder Photography session.
