I have THE best job in the world. Seriously! Being a Denver newborn photographer is incredible. How many other people can say that they spend their days cuddling tiny, adorable babies? I get to be one of the first people to meet these new, little humans. And I do not take that responsibility lightly. I am so honored that parents trust me to capture the first professional photos of their children. These portraits are so special and so important. They are only this little once!
New Little Sister – Denver Newborn Photographer
Sometimes photographing newborns does have its challenges. Babies don’t always sleep through their session. Sometimes, siblings are fussy and cranky. Parents are understandably exhausted. But this session went so smoothly. Baby Jozee was amazing. I mean, really! She was perfect in every way! Her big brother was awesome too. He was so excited to have a new little sister! He was so cooperative and gave me some great smiles for family portraits. And Mom and Dad were so much fun! It’s hard to be even nice, much less fun when you are sleep deprived and exhausted. But, this whole family was so wonderful to work with.
Since Jozee slept so well, through most of her session, I was able to put her in a bunch of different outfits. We stuck with a neutral color scheme with some soft greens and reds to brighten it up. Even when she was awake, she wasn’t too cranky and we were able to get some great photos of her eye open too. I love being able to get such a wide variety for a family.
