I was so excited to meet up with Malak and Ahmed for their Maternity Experience. We decided on Stanley Lake in Arvada for their location. It boasts stunning mountain views and a lot of incredible spots to shoot.

When Malak and I were first discussing her newborn experience, she had said that she did not need the complimentary maternity mini experience. Just in case you did not know, I offer a complimentary mini maternity experience to all of my book and confirmed newborn experience clients. It is such an amazing time and so fleeting, that I encourage all of my mamas to celebrate their bodies and the incredible things it is capable of. SO you can imagine how thrilled I was when she changed her mind!
When I pulled into the parking lot, I will never forget the scene that unfolded in front of me – I saw Malak & Ahmed off in the field and he was making such a fuss over her, holding her hand as they walked constantly checking to make sure she was ok – I just about melted right there on the spot. I was kind of wishing I could become invisible and just follow them around taking pictures without them knowing.
While I like to believe I do have some super powers, becoming invisible isn’t one. So out of the car I went. These 2 were nothing short of amazing. I pride myself on making expecting mothers fall in love with their bodies again, celebrating motherhood, it is the single most amazing thing and your body did it!
Malak was amazing and you can totally tell that this new life is going to be loved beyond words. The session went off without a hitch and I couldn’t be more in love with their images! 
Malak chose THE perfect dress for her session, it was so classic and timeless while still showing off her bump beautifully! Can you even believe that she gave birth just a week after this session? Stay tuned for some peaks at their amazing newborn experience soon!
