Family Portraits In Denver Colorado
I have been taking this kiddos family photos Denver since he was in his Mama’s belly (check out his first few sessions with me…….maternity newborn , 6 month ). It makes me so happy to watch him grow and develop into this adorable stick loving boy with a personality so happy it is contagious.
A portrait adventure
I like to tell all of my clients that our time together is an adventure. We will play, laugh, and explore. No two sessions are the same. These particular family photos Denver took us to a beautiful park where I learned that August had a legit stick collection! Seriously, his amazing mama has a box in their garage where he stores his prized sticks. So naturally, we had to go on a hunt for the perfect stick to add to his collection right????
So much joy and excitement!
When August found THE stick (and it did not take long you guys!), it was twice the height of him! I don’t know how he did it, but he lugged that stick around for the rest of his family photos Denver session. Never complained, just plugged right along as we tracked all over the park. It is things like this- that we as parents want to remember right??? This is a story to be told at a holiday gathering many years from now and to have the photos to show too?!?!? That is awesome if you ask me.
Mama love
In addition to his fascination with sticks, he also loves his Mama something fierce. Their love and way of interacting with each other made my job taking their family photos Denver so easy. The images are all real. They all tell a story, capture a moment. All the things that I as a photographer strive to do in each session.
Pure JOY
You can’t fake shots like this. I don’t care if you are the best photographer in the universe, it will not happen. Their love and joy just filled my heart to the brim. And to be asked to capture this time and time again…….gives me all the warm fuzzies.
I never ever take my craft for granted. It is not lost on me how important family photos Denver are for not only those in the pictures, but for those who will see them years from now. I want my clients images to tell their story, I mean who needs actual words when the photo tells you everything you need to know.
