Meet Oscar aka Tiny Dog
They say the quarantine will do funny things to you…..well it certainly has. Since I cant do any studio newborn photography for a little while longer and I needed a baby fix…..we got a furry baby.
A breath of fresh air.
This sweet guy was found roaming the streets of Texas with his mama and 7 siblings. They were incredibly emaciated and in poor health. Oscar and his family were rescued by an amazing organization called IResQ where they were nursed back to health and adopted out to families. If you are looking for a pup, consider checking out IResQ. Tiny dog has been a welcome addition to our family and has brought a much needed breath of fresh air into our life.
BFF’s for life
I mean can you even…….don’t you just love these sibling images (see what I did there……yes I am REALLY missing newborn photography). I love how quickly they have bonded, maybe it is just that they have succumbed to the fact that he is staying. In my mind though, they will be BFF’s forever :).

I even got my husband snuggling tiny dog. Oscar is 5 lbs of sweetness you guys. And I REALLY want to wrap him in a beautiful knit wrap, slap a bonnet on him and put him in a basket….IDK maybe that may be next. What do you think? Should I do a studio newborn photography session with Oscar????
Storytelling…….
This quarantine is part of our story right? Quarantine puppy is a big chapter. One that deserves to be told. I do hope that you all are documenting your moments during this historic time for our grandkids will be reading about this in their history books. And will look to us to tell them all about it, first hand. What will your story look like?
Bring me your babies!
I am ready to go you guys! I NEED to get my baby fix….or else I may end up with a houseful of puppies. Our studio is cleaned, prepped and ready to celebrate you! We are currently open for outside family portrait and Maternity sessions and will be opening the studio next week for Newborn photography sessions and sitter sessions! So I beg of you…..save me from myself and save tiny dog from me dressing him up like a baby and book your portrait session today! I CANT wait to get behind the lens!
