I could say that these parents are absolutely smitten with their sweet baby girl, but that would be a total understatement. Being a Colorado Newborn Photographer, I see lots and lots of new parents and yes they all ADORE their tiny little bundles of joy, but what I saw during this session, there are just no words for.
I met Heather and Brady when they asked me to do a last minute Maternity Session. I am so glad I was able to fit them in. Not only was their maternity session epic, their newborn photography session did not disappoint either. I try so hard to educate my parents on every single aspect of their session so that they are prepared. I tell them what looks good in front of the camera (although I am still waiting for a dad to go shirtless……..so if you know of any takers please send them my way!), what to expect as far as the actual session & how to prepare before hand. I strongly suggest that they go out in my family area and take advantage of the time off to either catch up on sleep, write thank you notes or just watch TV. I know it is scary to be away from your brand new baby, but I assure you I am more then happy to snuggle your newborn! Not only does this get me my baby fix, it also allows me to do my job a little easier. Most babies don’t fall into that deep sleep that we want them in when Mama is in the room. They can smell her and would much rather be close to her then me. Can you blame them?!?!?! I was giddy when the V family followed every single suggestion to the T. This session was one of the easiest, quickest sessions to date. Here are a few of my favorites!
