Holy Smokes! The LOOOONG drive to Castle Pines Monday was totally worth it! Dylan was an absolute dream baby. She slept almost the entire session! I met her parents and little brother when I did a maternity shoot for them and I was giddy to come do their newborn session. Shauna did everything I asked and the session was amazing. We got lucky enough to borrow the neighbors backyard where there was the most beautiful water feature and some amazing stonework. I must say I am really loving all of the outdoor newborn session I have been able to do lately! It provides such variety to the portraits. Or maybe it is just that I have yard envy…..we just built a house and I have nothing but dirt in my “backyard”, lots of dirt. I have to say in all of the newborn photography sessions that I have done, I don’t think I have ever seen a dad as smitten with his child as Jeff is with Dylan. I admit, I may have gotten a little choked up at the beauty of it. He is so absolutely in love with this baby it is incredible. She is one lucky little girl. I think her little brother is warming up to her too. All in all, it was a perfect session. I can’t wait to go through the rest of the images from the session! I hope I get to work with this family again!
