So it is that time of year again, summer is coming to an end, school is starting, and it’s time to think about updating family pictures. If your family is at all like mine, this is all met with lots of eye rolls and groans. Well THIS portrait photographer is here to tell you, that while I cannot do anything about summer ending and school starting, I can ensure you that family pictures can and will be FUN!

Gone are the days of stiff, awkward photos…….

You know the ones I am talking about, where everyone is wearing matching white button up shirts and jeans? Not happening here! I want you to think of our time together as an adventure. We will run, we will play, snuggle, and do whatever it is that is fun for you.

The “H” Family

I have to tell you that this families story has been one of my favorites to date. There are so many reasons why it falls into my top family sessions. It’s always a little sweeter when you know the family you are shooting. My son Connor plays soccer with Alex aka curly fries, so we spend a lot of time with these guys. I just love the way they are with each other. It was so easy to photograph them playing and loving each other. It was truly everything I could ever want in a family portrait session. Not to mention Mom’s styling was ON POINT! Am I right?!?!?

I am so grateful each and every time someone choose me to tell their story. I know how important it is to capture these moments. To have beautiful memories to look back on.
