Growing a new life is hard right, Mama?!?! You are no longer able to put yourself first. All of a sudden, your needs take a backseat to that sweet tiny human growing in your belly. It can be as scary and stressful as it is exciting!
I encourage you – take some time for you, get a prenatal massage (if you have never had one YOU NEED TO GET ONE or two!), go get your nails done, a good pedicure is amazing especially if you have swollen feet. Prenatal yoga is also wonderful. Take a little trip with your significant other. A lot of couples now are going on what’s called a babymoon and I love that idea! It is a great way to cherish this time together. Enjoy it!
This is the beginning of the best roller coaster ride ever. We often get caught up in the planning of things (I am so guilty of this) that we forget to be present in the actual ride. It goes by so fast Mama, I beg you to stop and take a minute. Take a minute to talk to your belly, envision what you think your little one will look like. Visualize the future they will have. All of these things matter. It is so worth it to take a minute, take a breath, and just enjoy this exciting life stage.

I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is new parenthood, where new moms and dads can really just focus on that amazing, tiny human that they are creating.
