Hey there Mama!
I’m Erin, your Denver local photographer, story teller, super hero and mom. Sit back and relax as I share with you all a little bit about me, my story and why I do what I do.
I am a wife, mother, photographer, soccer mom, coffee addict, wine lover and beach bum. My childhood was spent in a little town in Maine called Kennebunk and made the trek across the country to Colorado about 20 years ago. Erin Jachimiak Photography came to be in the Spring of 2013 after my husband gave me 6 months to follow my passion. I ran with it and have not looked back! Pretty awesome right????

I also love celebrating motherhood. In my humble opinion it is probably the greatest accomplishment of our lives. I say accomplishment because it is hard! Here I will say that again IT IS HARD!
I know, first-hand, how overwhelming parenthood can be. For those of you that don’t know, I have 2 kiddos. Hannah is 14 and going to be a freshman (WOAHHHHH) in High School and Connor is 11 and going into 6th grade. My kids are on the go 24/7 it seems. They are both on competitive soccer teams and it seems like I spend more time in my car driving my son an hour each way to practice or sitting at the field while my daughter gets her private goalkeeper training. Some days it is so crazy I forget to even get dressed and we eat cereal for dinner(TRUTH!). I know firsthand what it’s like to be caring for a family and and to always put yourself last.
Put yourself first Mama
When my children were younger, it was so easy to put everyone else first, to not do the things in life that made me happy. Once I realized how my unhappiness affected not only myself but my family as well, I decided that I needed to put myself first because I deserved that. This made me want to inspire other Mama’s to do the same thing. Being a Mother is a tireless and often thankless job, the fact that we created these perfect little beings is a BIG deal. An accomplishment that deserves to be honored! I love making mothers feel beautiful and pampered. All the while being able to create perfect little moments amongst the chaos — to celebrate the love and joy that is motherhood. What is that saying, the days are long but the years are short? Something like that anyway. But this is the truth! We need to be sure that we are living in the moment, embracing life and love and most importantly capturing it! See this is where I come in. I am just the lady to help you with this. I want to be YOUR Denver local photographer, to freeze time for you, to help you forget about the chaos of everyday life. Even if it is just for an hour. We will take that hour and focus on YOU. YOU, your loved ones and whatever it is that makes your family happy.

I am truly blessed and it is not lost on me. Not too many people get the opportunity to do something that they absolutely love and call it a job. There is something magical about capturing life and love and all the things in-between that makes my heart so happy. I would truly be honored to tell your story.
