Anyone who is a fan of Jack and Rebecca you know that this quote is on the latest episode peak. If you have no idea what I am talking about you are missing out! (Go binge watch This is Us. You can thank me later). I have been repeating this over and over in my head because I just loved it so much. Colorado Newborn and Family photography is HARD you guys. It is also incredibly amazing and rewarding. Just like parenting and being a kid. Parenting is the single hardest thing you will ever do. You are responsible for molding this tiny human into a respectable adult. I mean there is so much more to it but in a nutshell your job is to nurture, love, discipline, & teach your child so that they can spread their wings and fly successfully. But being a kid…….man what a thing it is right?!?! To see things through their eyes is nothing short of amazing……..
I was so excited to blog this Colorado newborn and family photography session! These parents were freaking amazing during their maternity session, I just knew that their newborn session was not going to disappoint. They are so in love with each other and just in complete awe of their sweet baby girl. I could have taken their pictures for HOURS.
This is a question I am asked all the time! and the short answer is YES! A full newborn session with me includes ALL THE THINGS. Parent photos, sibling photos and baby photos. I have even been know to add a grandparent or 2. It is so important to have these memories, to have this story to tell. What an amazing incredible thing it is to be a parent. It needs to be remembered.
The way Dad’s thumb softly caresses babies cheek…..I MEAN COME ON! If that doesn’t tug at your heartstrings I don’t know what will! Colorado newborn and family photography is something that will always be close to my heart. I live for images like these. The in between moments. I had taken a break here to grab a drink of water and I turned and saw Dad doing this and scrambled to shoot it. These are things that you can’t pose. Those authentic, real moments. That is the story I want to tell.
OMG YES! It is so important! I talk a lot about styling for family and maternity photography sessions, but it is just as important for your newborn session. You are probably thinking that you just had a baby and most of you have nothing that fits your week old post baby body. Don’t worry Mama – I’ve got you! In case you didn’t know, I have a client closet that you are encouraged to take advantage of. This Mama did just that, and the dress she chose was just perfect! Dad chose a simple white T so as not to take any of the focus away from that sweet baby.
Thats easy- You can email me here. Or message me on social media. I am on Instagram and Facebook! I do only accept a limited number of sessions each month so that I can devote 100% of my attention to you and telling your authentic story. It’s funny that since COVID there has been such a baby booms many quarantine babies lol. We are busier than ever so please do not wait to get in touch with me! I just love capturing these first moments and it pains me when I can’t fit a family in.
The Mama from this Colorado newborn and family photography session said just that when she posted a peak from this session. Seeing that makes it all worthwhile. I am so glad we did this. I hope every single client thinks that about our time together when they get their images back. Time is fleeting, we are not promised tomorrow. Your story needs to be told. It deserves to be told.
There are a TON of pictures in this post, but I really wanted you to see an entire Colorado newborn and family photography session gallery. This post has every single image from our time together. I love every single one of them!
If you have not gotten your baby fix here, I would love it if you hopped over to my newborn gallery here! I am currently booking Newborn Sessions through September so lets tell your story!!!!!
