The short answer is YES!

In this day and age where everything is so uncertain I am going to tell you that having these moments and this story to tell is absolutely a necessity! Professional family photos are going to be such an important piece of your story and your children’s story, and their children’s story for that matter!

Time is fleeting! Make those memories now!

If I have learned nothing else in the last year, it is to stop putting things off. We are not promised tomorrow or the day after. I know as a mama myself, how important capturing these moments with my children are. My own kids are at that age now where they would rather be out doing stuff with their friends than having a family movie night at home with Mom and Dad. Not going to lie, it makes me sad. BUT I know that I need to treasure the moments that they do want to hang out with us. One of those moments is always at family photos. Yes, even though they are older now, we still do them. No it is not always easy to get everyone excited to do them – but once we are there it is always fun.

What will YOUR legacy be?

I think about this a lot. As a parent, I feel like it is part of my job to ensure that my children have a story to tell. Something to pass down from generation to generation. As a photographer, a storyteller, it is my job to ensure that all of my clients have this as well. I like to think of each time you see me it is a new chapter to add to your book – the story of your family. It is such an important responsibility and one that I take very seriously.

Moments like these deserve to be treasured.

They don’t stay little like this for long. Trust me, I know. It seems like one day I was holding my own kids like the family above, and the next they are both taller then me. It was like I blinked and BAM! They grew up. I want you to have these moments, forever. I would love to be the one who captures them for you!

Professional family photos for everyone!

I know that the traditional hour long photography sessions isn’t for everyone. While, I adore these types of professional family photos because the amount of time the sessions allow for really lets me get to know the families, my shorter mini sessions are just as fun! These are short 30 minute sessions that I run back to back for 1 day only twice a year. As you can imagine they are a pretty hot commodity.
