I may have squealed a little when Thu got out of her car looking like THAT! How stunning is she?!?!? If you haven’t scrolled down to see her yet, you just have to. She is such a gorgeous mama. I love that she just embraced that beautiful bump with this body-hugging gown. It was perfect for her mountain maternity session! Everyone coordinated their outfits so well, with dad and brother-to-be wearing white button downs that made them look so handsome. Even the dog was wearing white to match! Haha!
Mountain Maternity Session in Louisville
This location in Louisville, Colorado was just perfect for her session. We got gorgeous mountain views, tall golden grasses, and an epic sky. I love that Thu wanted to include the entire family in her session, including the dog! Things like that really help add an authentic feel to a client’s story and their images. This location was dog-friendly and I am so glad we were able to include their fur baby in their portraits. I love being able to capture the WHOLE family at my portrait experiences!
It was SO windy this night and it was such a struggle to keep the hair out of faces. With wind like that, it is all about getting the gown and hair to blow in just the right direction. Half the time, it’s just luck that gets us that amazing windswept look! Lol! But when everything lines up just right, the sun, the wind, the hair, the dress, it’s pure magic! All the little things come together to make these images amazing.
I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is new parenthood, where new moms and dads can really just focus on that amazing, tiny human that they created. I am pretty lucky if you ask me!
If you are expecting or know someone who is, I would be honored to craft a completely custom portrait experience for you!
