The “S” family drove all the way to my studio in Arvada for their newborn photography session. William and Emily’s mom responded to a model call that I had for twin newborns. I am SO glad that she did. I was a little worried going into the session, as they were born at 38 weeks and we did their shoot only 7 days after birth, but I got so lucky! These 2 babies were an absolute dream to photograph. Not only were they beautiful, but they slept pretty much the whole time. William was a little stubborn but once we got him to sleep, he was out for the rest of the session. Their big sister April is pretty amazing too! They are so lucky to have her!
It was pretty incredible to witness the bond that these 2 babies already have with each other. When 1 got a little fussy, all it took was putting them next to each other and they calmed down instantly. I am so thankful that my long time friend and cookie maker extraordinaire Kristin (seriously guys, if you want YUMMY cookies, cake pops or cupcakes….give her a call – Suga Me Sweet! Amazing!) was willing to come hang out with me and help. She made a world of difference. However, now I feel as though I NEED an assistant all of the time…..she spoiled me.
Anyway, this session was probably one of my favorite newborn shoots to date. I am so excited to share some of my favorite images from this newborn session.
