This is seriously THE BEST MOTHER’S DAY GIFT EVER! Brian called me and said that he wanted to surprise his wife on her first Mothers Day with some pictures of he and his son Cal. I mean really- guys- THIS is what we want! Even though we were in a bit of a time crunch, I knew we had to make this happen. It didn’t hurt that I would get to see Cal. They live right down the street from me, but I have not seen these guys since I took Cal’s newborn pictures. Its funny how time just gets away from you. In my mind Cal was still 3 maybe 4 months old when in reality he is 8 months old! I really don’t know where the time goes.
Brian was so sneaky I loved it! You see we had to do the shoot while Mom was at the office. He snuck out of work, went to the babysitter’s and got Cal and came to my house for their session. All without Mom knowing! Cal is truly one of THE happiest babies in the world. All he did was smile, until I tried to stuff him in a basket- which he didn’t care all that much for. But even though we were doing a short 30 minute session, I got so many amazingly, perfectly adorable photographs. It was so hard to narrow them down. I hate that part of my job- Its so hard to decide, objectively of course, which images are worthy of making it into the client’s gallery. Anyway, here are just a few of my favorites!
I am beyond thrilled that Brian and I were able to pull off this super special gift for Kristy on her first Mother’s Day! I feel so blessed and grateful that this is my job! Thank you Brian for trusting me and including me in such a special memory for your family. I can’t wait to see you all again soon!
