SO MANY FAVORITES!
This little post was so much fun to put together. I loved strolling down memory lane, looking at the hundreds of families that have allowed me the honor of taking their newborn pictures. It was so hard to narrow it down to just a few, I seriously pulled almost 100 shots from past years. WAY too many to put in a blog post lol.
Sit back, shut your mind off for a bit and enjoy some cute babies and their amazing parents!
It is no secret that photographers can not work right now. And I get it, I am doing my part hunkering down in my home with my family. I am learning to homeschool and to share an office space with my husband. It has been touch and go over here, but we are slowing coming to find and accept that this is our new normal. It has been hard, you guys. I MISS all the things, my babies, my studio, my SCHEDULE!!! Suffice it to say, I miss my life. BUT this is the deck we are being dealt, so lets make the best of it! I am excited to say that this blog post will be the first in a series of my favorites. So get excited! Lets forget about the yucky stuff and focus on love, the love that is new parenthood.
A time for reflection……
As I was sifting through all of these sessions, some from many years ago, I was really able to look at the images and see how far I have come. How much I have learned since I opened my doors for Newborn Photography back in 2013. But, there were some commonalities in each and every image…. love, joy and family. These are the things we need to focus on right now.
We mustn’t forget…..
In times like this it is so hard to focus on the negative stuff. It is overwhelming I get it. I want to you take a minute and remember. To look back at YOUR images like these and remember. Maybe this is a good time to tell your kiddos their birth story. How they were celebrated.
I am so lucky
Sometimes I seriously pinch myself. Is this REALLY my job? I mean just look at that shot above…..how that wouldn’t put a smile on someones face is beyond me. It makes me happy every time I look at it.
Blessed
You probably have heard me say this a million times, but it is not lost on me! I am so very blessed that I get to celebrate motherhood, parenthood and all of the other amazing moments in your lives. I couldn’t think of anything else I would rather do.
Are you expecting or do you know someone who is???
I would love to be able to celebrate with you! I am still booking expecting Mama’s with due dates mid May and after. Let’s connect!
