I often get asked WHY Studio Newborn Photography. Why should we make that kind of investment in professional newborn portraits? Yes I did say INVESTMENT because that is what it is. An investment in your families legacy. An investment in YOUR story. So why newborn photography you ask? Because Mama those tiny little pouty lips, the chunky cheeks, those itty bitty fingers. Those details won’t always be there. I believe it is imperative that those things all be captured, documented, preserved for years to come.
Personally, I LOVE looking at old photographs. There is something about pulling out a box of photos (you know real actual printed photographs???) and being transported back in time. Remembering my daughters first steps, or that trip we took as a family to the beach and my son dipped his chubby toes into the ocean water. These memories are priceless to me, and so worth the investment. I still swoon over my sons 6 month photos and my daughters newborn portraits. STILL 11 and 14 years later.
I have such a passion for photography, I love that I have been blessed with this gift to be able to freeze time for my clients and give them something to remember their babies by, to be able to be a small part of their story.
It truly would be an honor for me to capture your family, your moments and your details.
I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is new parenthood, where new moms and dads can really just focus on that amazing, tiny human that they created. I am pretty lucky if you ask me!
If you are expecting or know someone who is, I would be honored to craft a completely custom portrait experience for you!
