Most of you know me as your local photographer, but did you know that I LOVE Rachel Hollis. Like REALLY love her. It’s like she knows exactly what I need to hear and when I need a kick in the pants you know?
It is not uncommon to hear one of her pod casts in the background while I am editing a session or doing paperwork.
This quote in particular really struck a cord with me though. I think maybe it is because I often say that everything is just hard, nothing can ever just be easy. There is always some kind of obstacle that must be overcome before we can get to the end goal. I know many of you know exactly what I am talking about.
I told myself I wasn’t going to do another blog talking about the state of the world right now, but I lied. This is the struggle, the challenge that we are being faced with. I am counting down the days until local photographer s can work again. Seriously, I cant wait. In the meantime though, I am choosing to focus on how this challenging time is going to change me. Change the way I look at life, at the little insignificant obstacles that are thrown my way. And ask myself in the whole grand scheme of life does it really matter? Is it worth getting all upset because things are not going exactly as I planned? The answer is probably not.
That word Change is scary I know, but the reality of it is, that change is a good thing. It really is. I encourage you Mama to embrace the challenges that life throws at you, and know that the change or the growth from these challenges is going to be worth it.
