I am SO very far behind with my blogging, it seems like every time I THINK I am going to get caught up something happens and it gets put on the back burner. Which is kind of sad, because I enjoy blogging. It gives me a few minutes to reflect back on each session and remember the things that made it so unique. I really love being a family photographer. Not only do I get to see a lot of my clients grow through the years, I get to create memories for them. Moments that truly capture them doing the special things that are unique to only them.
This session was one for the books- Sometimes, family photography is a little stressful, you really want to make sure that you not only capture them doing the things that they love, but you also want to make sure that you capture the image where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera. The one that will go on the wall or to Grandma. I got such a great mix of the two during this session, I was just thrilled!
This sweet girl has such a zest for life it is contagious. I enjoyed every. single. second of this session. We met in Boulder for the “R” families photography session and the backdrop is just perfect don’t you think??? They moved here just last year and really wanted something that said we are in Colorado! I think we nailed it. The joy and love that just radiated from everyone in this family was simply amazing. So many times parents arrive at sessions so stressed out and it really rubs off on the kids. Not these guys- they were so relaxed and took direction from me like pros. It was awesome!
