Colorado Maternity Session Locations

As a maternity and family photographer, I do a lot more that just take and edit photos. I work with my clients through the whole process to make sure everything is stress-free and perfect. One part of that is finding the best Colorado maternity session locations. I love it when clients really think about where they want to have their portraits taken. I try to encourage them to choose a spot that has some kind of meaning to them. It makes the session and the images all that more special you know?

This Mama to be asked me to give her some suggestions for beautiful mountain views. Of course, this spot was first on my list. At first, she was a little hesitant because of the significance of this location, but in the end, she chose it. I later learned that her own Mama had passed away and this was where they spread her ashes. What a perfect location, her Mama got to be a part of her amazing journey.

Alana also chose to incorporate some of her mother’s jewelry into the session as well. It was such a beautiful experience, one that I am honored I got to be a small part of. I challenge you when you are thinking about where to do your next portrait session, to think about some beautiful memories that you have or places that you hold dear to your heart. It really makes the emotional connection so real, resulting in a beautiful story captured forever.

I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is new parenthood, where new moms and dads can really just focus on that amazing, tiny human that they created. I am pretty lucky if you ask me!
