When you think of fall, what do you think of? Pumpkin spice lattes, warm sweaters, cooler weather. Perhaps Colorado family portraits? I know that is what I think of. Fall is the busiest time of the year for us portrait photographers. I love it though, really, I do. I have so many families that return year after year for their fall portraits. It is truly a privilege that I get to see their families grow, it is like every year I get to write a new chapter of their story.
I get lots of new families too, which is amazing. I love getting to meet new families, starting to tell their story, as seen through my eyes. Getting to capture their memories, their legacy. It truly is an honor. This family was a new family, they were gifted a session from their realtor at the closing of their new home. Such a cool gift right?!?!?! New home, new photos, new memories! I love that I got to gift them with some beautiful portraits that I hope are gracing the walls of their new home.

I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is parenthood, where moms and dads can really just focus on the amazing family that they created. I am pretty lucky if you ask me!
