While I am primarily a newborn photographer, I absolutely love my one year milestone sessions! I now offer sitter sessions that encompass these one year sessions and any baby aged three months to two years old. They are short sessions, only 30 minutes long, but we pack so much in and get tons of great images every time. Babies that are rolling, crawling, or walking around don’t usually want to stay in one place for very long anyway! I love capturing all their different faces and expressions as their personalities are just starting to take shape!
Charlotte’s One Year Milestone
I always get a little sad when MY (yes, I do call them mine, lol) milestone babies turn one. It was no different with Miss Charlotte here. You see, I just love watching these tiny humans grow and turn into little toddlers with opinions and attitudes and lots of emotions. It is probably my favorite age to photograph. Milestone sessions are such a fantastic option to capture that first year of life. Those fleeting moments are just that…..fleeting. Before you know it, they will be full grown. This family has been so amazing to get to know over the past year and I look forward to sharing many more adventures with them as their beautiful girls grow.
I feel so fortunate that I get to call this work. Who else gets to wake up every single day and help families celebrate life & love? I love that I get to tell their story. It is incredible to be able to create a moment in amongst all of the chaos that is parenthood, where moms and dads can really just focus on the amazing family that they created. I am pretty lucky if you ask me!
