I can’t even begin to tell you guys how AMAZING this session was! It was seriously EVERYTHING! I met Karla when I did a Maternity Mini Session for her a month or so ago. I knew immediately that I was really going to enjoy working with her. She is such a strong and beautiful Mama- it was so easy and fun to photograph her.
Our time together for Harpers Newborn Session started out on a rather stressful note- they got lost (I mean REALLY lost). See where I live, there are 2 streets with the same name, on opposite ends of town. And you never know where Google is going to send you! Well they ended up on the other side of town. I felt awful because I didn’t know where they were. So I was of absolutely no help. Anyway, long story short, they finally made it to the right street and I got to meet Harper.
Being a Newborn Photographer in Denver, I get babies from all over the place- these guys drove from Denver out to my studio in west Arvada. I am super happy that they did. Karla did everything right- she read my tips and tricks and wasn’t even upset when I asked her to leave the studio. Baby’s are super sensitive to the smell of their Mama’s and when we could not get sweet Harper to settle, I asked Karla to go relax on my couch in the family area. Sure enough within 5 minutes I had Harper asleep. She slept the ENTIRE session. I got through more set ups with her then I have with any other session to date. It was awesome. I could post a slide show of her entire session, but I won’t (right now anyway), instead, I will let you check out a few of my favorites!
Karla, I am so happy that you found me and that I could capture this special time for you! I look forward to working with you again!
